About us:
Come and join the team at Grassroots Sports Academy and become one of our Sports Coaches. We are a family-run business with a child-centred approach that values our staff and the community we are in. We support families with before and after school (wrap – around) childcare, creating a safe and comfortable environment for children during these times.
Job Description:
– Start ASAP (part time role available, ideal for those working around college / university).
– DBS check required and will be provided by Grassroots Sports Academy.
– Sports coaching experience and/or studies of sports related courses desirable.
– Must be keen to learn, develop and progress their development through Grassroots Sports Academy.
– To deliver top quality primary school PE sessions using knowledge of sports and coaching.
– To understand and show good behaviour management.
– To be able to work alongside the Grassroots Sports Academy team efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
– To deliver breakfast clubs, dinner time clubs and after school clubs within schools focusing on a range of different sports.
– To deliver primary school PE sessions to national curriculum standard.
– To create a positive and fun environment to motivate primary school children to enjoy participation in sport environments.
– To be a positive role model to primary school children.
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: Up to 25 hours a week
